Wilkinson County remained undefeated and handed Baldwin its second loss of the season with an 81-56 win Friday night at the Macon Centreplex during the Mac-Town Shootout.

Senario Hillman, who was held to 10 points when these two teams met in February, led the way with 28 points and was named player of the game for Wilkinson County. Martavius Adams was named player of the game for Baldwin after he scored 20 points.

Baldwin jumped out to a 6-0 first quarter lead before Wilco went on a 15-2 run to take a seven-point lead. With the Warrior starters on the bench, the Braves went on 10-2 run during the last 1:40 of the first and led 18-17 going into the second quarter.

The lead changed hands a couple of times before the Warriors took a 21-20 lead on a Williams jumper with 6:34 left in the half, and never looked back.

Wilkinson outscored the Braves 27-10 in the second half, led by Hillman. He finished with 14 points in the first half, with 12 coming in the second quarter alone, including several dunks and acrobatic plays. With :30 left, Keith Davis and Hillman connected for an alley-oop.

The Warriors led 44-28 at halftime. Hillman continued his dominance in the third quarter, scoring eight consecutive points for the Warriors, who led 59-41 heading into the last period of play.

Wilkinson increased the lead in the fourth behind the play of Hillman, Dontrell Taylor and Keith Davis and until there was two minutes remaining in the game and head coach Aaron Geter Jr. pulled his starters.

With 6:21 left, Hillman drove down the court and dribbled behind his back and layed it up to give the Warriors a 66-44 lead. The play came just seconds before Taylor’s two-handed dunk increased the lead to 20.

With 2:31 left, the Warrior starters were taken out of the game with a 76-51 lead, and Wilkinson County went on to the 81-56 win.
