Lake Country United Football Club is hosting a boys soccer ID camp in Milledgeville this weekend.
The Eatonton club has partnered with Southeastern All-American Sports for this event. It will take place at the Baldwin County Soccer Complex located off of Highway 212. This is a two-day camp with each day lasting from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. There are only two spots remaining for the Sunday, Oct. 11 session, but there are still 11 spots available for Saturday, Oct. 10.
Also, for the Saturday camp, there is an opening for an entire team to come together (teams get a discount). No mark-up has been added on the event, and there are packages as low as $75 per player. For a few more dollars, there are packages that include a personalized highlight reel for each player with their positive plays made during the camp, which players can use to assist with their recruiting. At least 10 college coaches — most likely more — will be attending and running the training sessions as well as the two 45-minute matches and the 90-minute match. Player evaluations and a recruiting Q&A session are also included. This camp is available to players with graduation years of 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
Masks will be mandatory for all in attendance. Parents are welcome to stay and watch, but must also wear masks and maintain social distance from others. Temperatures will also be taken at the start of each day.
