In the interest of fan and player safety and in a desire to adhere to NCAA protocols and guidelines, Georgia College Athletics has announced its spectator policy for the basketball season, beginning in January.

Bobcat Athletics will begin this abbreviated 2021 season with no spectators in the Centennial Center. As the season progresses, the department will review protocols and make determinations on the possibility of spectators for future games.

The Bobcats make the unprecedented change to ensure the safest environment possible for all student-athletes, and also to enact NCAA protocols in a more controlled environment. Bobcat Athletics thanks all fans of the teams involved for their patience and understanding as we navigate the uncharted territory of athletics events in a pandemic.

All home contests will be broadcast as always on the Bobcat Broadcast Network (BBN), teaming for the first season with Blueframe Technologies. Catch all the action on The BBN here: https://pbcsportsnetwork.com/gcbobcats/ . The season begins Wednesday, Jan. 6 at 3:30 p.m. when Georgia College hosts Francis Marion University.
