The Georgia College Chemistry Club and Science Education Center hosted the annual National Chemistry Week festivities yesterday on Georgia College’s front campus. The theme this year was “Marvelous Metals.” During the day there were exploding ping pong balls and pumpkins, imploding cans, flashing aluminum foil and other science experiments. Tonight from 5 to 9 p.m. at Herty Hall, the Chemistry Club will host the “Family Fun Night.” This night will offer fun hands-on activities, a haunted cave-like maze, tie die, a theme room and more.
