A single-car crash on Saturday night in Baldwin County claimed the life of a 41-year-old man, local and state authorities say.
The man was identified as Andre Brown, who lived on Black Springs Road, according to Baldwin County Coroner John Gonzalez.
Chief Deputy Coroner Ken Garland pronounced Brown dead at 10:11 p.m. at the scene of the crash, Gonzalez confirmed during a telephone interview with The Union-Recorder on Tuesday afternoon.
Brown died from multiple blunt force trauma injuries, Garland said, noting there would be no autopsy.
The victim was driving a Ford Mustang along Black Springs Road near his residence prior to the crash, which caused the car to overturn.
The crash was investigated by a trooper with the Georgia State Patrol post in Milledgeville.
Repeated attempts to obtain additional information Monday about the fatal wreck from the state patrol were unsuccessful by presstime.
