EATONTON, Ga. — The death of a 6-year-old boy is under investigation by the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and Putnam County Coroner’s Office.
Sheriff Howard R. Sills said boy was believed to have drowned at Lake Sinclair after he wandered away from his home sometime Thursday night while his father was sleeping.
“The child apparently fell off the dock at a neighbor’s house down the road," Sills said.
