EATONTON, Ga. — Two men and a woman recently were indicted by a Putnam County grand jury in connection with the assault and robbery of a man using a BB gun.

The case, along with several others, was presented for consideration of indictment proceedings to grand jurors by Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit District Attorney Stephen A. Bradley and T. Wright Barksdale III, district attorney-elect.

The three defendants were identified as Brandon David Williams, Rebecca Doster Kelly and Thomas Elwood Bedgood III, according to records obtained by The Union-Recorder from the Putnam County Superior Court Clerk’s Office.

Grand jurors returned a three-count indictment against all three. They each were charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of armed robbery.

The trio is accused of robbing Jose Cordova of an undisclosed amount of money, and then assaulting him by shooting him in the face with a BB gun on May 17, 2020.

In unrelated cases, several other defendants also were indicted by grand jurors on other crimes, including aggravated assault and sexual-related crimes against children.

One such case involved Antwan Tramayne Andrews.

Court records indicate Andrews was indicted on two counts of aggravated assault under the Georgia Family Violence Act, robbery by force, burglary in the first degree, and entering an automobile.

Other defendants indicted included:

  • Hunter Layne Harrison, aggravated assault, home invasion, burglary in the first degree, and two counts of obstruction of a law enforcement officer.
  • Olbin Omar Lopez, three counts of aggravated asault, and one count of criminal damage to property in the second degree.
  • Dariaz Pierre Andrews, two counts of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
  • Steven Lee Reid, aggravated assault, battery, cruelty to children in the third degree, and criminal trespass.
  • Timothy Mark Harwell, aggravated assault, and two counts of obstruction of a law enforcement officer.
  • Willie Clarence Ellington, aggravated assault.
  • Janard Sharun Harris, aggravated assault.
  • Laura Lee Lawrence, aggravated assault.
  • Allen Linberg Martino, aggravated assault, battery under the Georgia Family Violence Act, and criminal damage to property in the second degree.
  • Omar Lydell Andews, aggravated assault, and criminal damage to property in the second degree.
  • Clyde Edward Parham, two counts of aggravated assault under the Georgia Family Violence Act.
  • Tyah Angleichen Culp, aggravated assault.
  • Usher Marcell Swain, aggravated assault under the Georgia Family Violence Act.
  • Michael Craig Griffin, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, and sexual battery.
  • Edward Donovan Hensley, three counts of aggravated child molestation, rape, incest, and child molestation.
  • Omar Ramirez, three counts of aggravated child molestation.
  • Leonard Cordon, sexual battery against a child under 16, and child molestation.
  • Matthew Ryan Sauls, child molestation.
  • Bobby Lorenzo Copeland, sexual battery against a child under 16.
  • Charlie Robert Rodriguez-DIaz, cruelty to children in the first degree, battery under the Georgia Family Violence Act, and cruelty to children in the third degree.
  • William Grady Johns, 10 counts of sexual exploitation of children.
  • Antonio Quenterius Adams, burglary in the first degree, kidnapping, simple battery under the Georgia Family Violence Act, and simple battery.
