A record 843 local citizens voted early in Baldwin County on the opening day of advance voting on Monday, according to Elections Superintendent Todd Blackwell.
Early voting kicked off across Georgia Monday, Oct. 12 and Baldwin County voters were out early to cast their ballots.
Baldwin County has already set a new all-time high for the number of registered voters with 26,979 eligible to cast ballots. Early voting runs weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday voting will be held on Oct. 24.
All early voting will take place in the new county government complex, located off North Columbia Street.
