EATONTON, Ga. — A nine-count criminal indictment recently was returned against a man by a grand jury that convened in Putnam County Superior Court in Eatonton.

The true bill of indictment came down against Zavius Akeem Hargrove, according to records filed in the Putnam County Superior Court Clerk’s Office.

Grand jurors indicted Hargrove on two counts of aggravated assault, false imprisonment, four counts of obstruction of a law enforcement officer, exploitation and intimidation of a disabled adult, elder person or resident, and simple battery under the Georgia Family Violence Act.

Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit District Attorney Stephen A. Bradley presented the case, as well as several other criminal cases to the grand jury earlier this month.

Hargrove is accused of committing the crimes on Feb. 26.

Grand jurors allege that Hargrove held a woman against her will at knifepoint. Hargrove also is accused of assaulting the victim.

Hargrove also is accused of committing obstruction against four different law enforcement officers including Putnam County Sheriff Howard R. Sills, Col. Russell Blenk, Sgt. Justin Brock and Deputy Mark Adams.

Grand jurors also indicted several other defendants on criminal charges. They included:

  • Yusuf Ali Floyd, Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act (VGCSA) for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana more than an ounce, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and driving under the influence, less safe drugs.
  • Rontavious Laman Crawford, VGCSA for three counts of sale of cocaine, and three counts of possession of illegal substances within 1,000 feet of a housing project.
  • Davaccio Earluvonte Ingram, VGCSA for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
  • Dessira Nasha Banks, VGCSA for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and crossing guard line with contraband.
  • Junelle Kevon Walker, VGCSA for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of a Schedule 1 controlled substance.
  • Sergio Zabarees Foster, VGCSA for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
  • Jaqyavus Jamar Milner, VGCSA for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of drug related objects.
  • Willie Little and Chinwe NNeka Umunna were jointly indicted. Grand jurors charged Little with VGCSA for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and criminal use of an article with an altered identification mark. Umunna was indicted on a charge of possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
  • Marquielle Javantee Little, VGCSA for two counts of sale of methamphetamine, and two counts of trafficking methamphetamine.
  • Andy Kirk Davis, VGCSA for two counts of trafficking methamphetamine, illegal use of a communication facility, and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
  • Quinterrius Jaquan Evans, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and VGCSA for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
  • Sonya Hull, VGCSA for two counts of sale of methamphetamine, and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
  • Richard James Hargrove, VGCSA for trafficking in methamphetamine, sale of methamphetamine, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
