To support the viability of Milledgeville’s most affected downtown small businesses and entrepreneurs during the COVID-19 crisis, the Milledgeville Downtown Development Authority will administer an emergency fund to help support operations. This program is intended to provide quick and immediate assistance to the downtown Milledgeville business community during a time of national economic emergency.
The grants are for up to $500 per business and provide assistance in paying utility bill(s). The applicant must have had a Milledgeville business license for a minimum of 12 months and be located in the Downtown Development Authority District to be eligible.
Applications are being accepted during the month of May, on a rolling basis, as funds remain available. The grant application and all necessary attachments are to be electronically submitted to email@example.com. Information and application can be found on the Main Street website as well as the Main Street Facebook page.
