Someone damaged the tailgate of a gray Chevrolet El Amino parked in the Rheem Manufacturing plant on Monday between 6 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., a sheriff’s report states.

— Criminal trespass

A man reportedly struck another man’s vehicle with a baseball bat at the Bobby Scoggins Quick Stop on North Columbia Street Monday night and then ran away, a sheriff’s report states.

— Theft by taking

A woman on Lovers Lane reported that she suspects her daughter and daughter’s friends took a vase with $25 worth of change in it and other items on Monday night, a sheriff’s report states.

— Gas drive off

A black male in white pickup truck drove off without paying for $15.23 worth of gas from the Flash Foods on North Jefferson Street on Monday morning. The clerk said he was talking to someone at the pump and may have forgotten to pay, a police report states.

— Entering auto

Someone entered a jeep Wrangler parked on Lakeside Drive and took a Kenwood in-dash stereo between Monday night and Tuesday morning, a police report states.

— Gas drive off

Two cars drove off at the same time and one did not pay for $20.02 worth of gas at the Flash South store on Vinson Highway on Monday night, a police report states.

— Burglary

A resident at a North Warren Street home heard glass breaking late Monday night. A rear window was broken by a rock and there were pry marks on the window seal. No one entered the home, a police report states.

— Larceny

A purse that was left early Tuesday morning at the Velvet Elvis Supper Club on North Columbia Street was reported missing, a police report states.
