GMC admissions will continue working until all BHS seniors have completed and been accepted to Georgia Military College.

High school seniors all over the country are beginning to think about college. The seniors at Baldwin High School are planning early with the help of their guidance counselors and the admissions team at Georgia Military College.

On Sept. 8-9, the GMC admissions team helped more than half of BHS seniors complete a college application. The team discussed the admissions process, the myriad of academic programs, affording college, athletic and fine art programs that the junior college offers to its students. By the end of each lab, each senior received their first college acceptance letter. GMC admissions will continue working until all BHS seniors have completed and been accepted to Georgia Military College.

“We are excited to be working with GMC to provide all of our seniors the opportunity to apply to college,” said BHS counselor Christy Hinton. “The admissions Labs that GMC conducted this week at Baldwin High School offered students the experience of completing an online college application, with help from admission representatives, and of receiving an official acceptance letter.  No matter what their future plans are, this experience was a valuable step that helped ensure each of our seniors realizes he or she can go to college and that they have an option right here at home.”
