The Georgia Department of Public Health now reports 507 cases of COVID-19 in the state and that 14 people diagnosed with COVID-19 have died. There are now two cases in Baldwin County, according to DPH’s website at 10:54 a.m. Saturday.
North Central Health District (NCHD) Epidemiologists confirmed the fifth case of COVID-19 in the Central Georgia health district on Friday, in Baldwin County.
That individual was not hospitalized as of Friday evening and remained isolated at home to keep the illness from spreading in the community. The source of exposure is unknown.
No other information on the latest case in Baldwin County has been made available.
