Milledgeville Main Street, The Twin Lakes Library System and Allied Arts are pleased to host another downtown drive-in movie this Friday at 9:30 p.m.
The first screening was so popular the organizations have teamed up to do it for a second time.
“Jurassic Park” will play on a 40-foot screen in the parking lot between the Mary Vinson Memorial Library and the Library Annex.
Hicks Concessions will have snacks and drinks for sale. This event is a joint effort of community organizations to bring people together for an event while also practicing social distancing. Patrons will be required to remain in vehicles to enjoy the movie. An FM transmitter will allow for an authentic drive-in experience in your car, right in downtown Milledgeville.
The movie will begin at dark, around 9:30 p.m., and parking is extremely limited. The parking lot will open for patrons to park no earlier than 8 p.m. Staff will be on hand to show each car or truck where they are to park. The Library Annex will be open to use the restrooms. Updates and event information will be posted on Facebook in an event titled Downtown Milly Drive-in Movie.
