The following is information compiled from public records of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

Milledgeville Police Department

Burglary

An officer responded to a location on March 15, in the 200 block of East Hancock Street. The officer spoke to a complainant who said that he left his hotel room and at the time the door was secure. When he returned hours later the room was in disarray and his book bag had been taken. Management stated they did have camera footage of the incident. On the footage, a shirtless man wearing a bandana and carrying a book bag is seen circling the area; however, the officer was unable to identify the man due to the quality of the footage.
