The following is information compiled from public records of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

Milledgeville Police Department

Stolen vehicle

An officer was dispatched to Karen Circle in reference to a stolen vehicle. The complainant stated that when she walked out of her apartment to get to her car, she discovered her Toyota Corolla was missing from under her carport. She said she saw her car the night before, but left the doors unlocked and she left her keys under the driver’s seat. A be on the lookout (BOLO) was issued for the car.

Shoplifting

An officer was responded to a shoplifting call at Walmart, 2592 N. Columbia St. When he arrived, he met with loss prevention personnel who had two subjects in custody. The two were caught trying to steal a Crossbow 370 valued at $248. The subjects were seen by the loss prevention employee buying other items, but laying down and then picking up the crossbow after the smaller items had been paid for. Both subjects were issued a citation for theft by shoplifting and sent to the law enforcement center.
