After reading the proclamation, Craig told local school system officials that they deserved so much more than a proclamation for what they have done and continue to do to make the local school system as good as it is.
“You do wonderful things for our community,” Craig said, noting their jobs had all been further complicated by COVID-19, as well as other issues. “But thank you for all that you do.”
Craig later presented the proclamation to members of the local school board, as well as to Baldwin County School Superintendent Dr. Noris Price, who was again this year one of the four finalists for School Superintendent of the Year.
The local school district has been a charter school system since 2016 when its status was approved by officials with the Georgia Department of Education.
