C&H Landscaping

C&H Landscaping focuses on commercial business landscapes but does offer residential services as well.

Cam O’Neal, the owner of C&H Landscaping, is a homegrown businessman who takes pride in the beautification of his community through offering lawn maintenance, hard landscaping, irrigation installation, and care and maintenance of plants, trees and shrubs.

A 2016 graduate of John Milledge Academy, O’Neal said his company focuses on commercial business landscapes but does offer residential services as well. His commercial business clients include The Club at Lake Sinclair, The Landings at Lake Sinclair, Antebellum Inn, Kids First Pediatrics, Shear Design Salon, and Perimeter Builders — just to name a few.

“I can meet with clients, listen to what they want, and give them a plan to make it happen,” said O’Neal. “In many cases, there are no pre-made hardscape kits for such things as fire pits, birdbaths, or stonework that fit perfectly into a design, so we build custom pieces to make our clients happy with the end product.”

C&H has access to any piece of equipment needed to complete a job, large or small. O’Neal keeps a well-stocked truck full of the best landscaping equipment, but he can also obtain larger apparatus for more in-depth projects.

O’Neal has extensive knowledge of which plants, shrubs, grass and trees are better suited for the hot Georgia climate. The company offers its services for choosing planting and maintenance of clientele landscapes as well as setting up irrigation systems and French drains to keep all the plants happy and alive.

“Proper irrigation is vital to keeping your landscape healthy and thriving as well as choosing the correct plant for the right place. If you have a wet area, you need a moisture loving plant. For a dry area, you need a plant with less watering needs. We can help you choose the appropriate plantings,” he said.

For lawn maintenance, the company offers sod installation, proper irrigation and fertilization for grass, and of course, the summer’s standing chore — mowing. In the fall, the company offers cleanup services including vacuuming and removal of leaf and yard debris. O’Neal composts a large majority of the organic material and uses it in springtime to mulch the beds he services.

“We offer maintenance for all seasons, not just spring and summer. Landscapes need consistent care to retain their attractiveness, especially for commercial businesses,” he said. “If you want the exterior of your business to look great all year-long, you have to maintain it throughout the fall and winter months, too.”
