Dallis Meminger graduates from CCU

Coastal Carolina University recognized nearly 1,200 students during its in-person Spring 2021 commencement ceremonies, held Friday, May 7, and Saturday, May 8, in Brooks Stadium. Among the graduates was Dallis Meminger an information technology major from Sparta.

Coastal Carolina University is a dynamic, public comprehensive liberal arts institution located in Conway, located just minutes from the resort area of Myrtle Beach, S.C.

CCU offers baccalaureate degrees in 95 major fields of study. Among the University's graduate-level programs are 27 master's degrees, two educational specialist degrees, and the doctorates in education and in marine science: coastal and marine systems science. CCU boasts a growing array of internship, research and international opportunities for students, as well as numerous online programs through Coastal Online.

 

Valdosta State University announces spring 2021 graduates

Valdosta State University is proud to announce the members of its graduating class of Spring 2021, including the following area residents:

Joseph Allen of Milledgeville earned the master of education in educational leadership

Tiffany Bayne of Milledgeville earned the doctor of public administration

Griffin Law of Milledgeville earned the master of music in performance

These students are among more than 1,100 students who completed their degree requirements during Spring Semester 2021.

 

Simmons earns degree from Wake Forest University

Evan Simmons of Milledgeville earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Wake Forest University during graduation ceremonies held May 16. 

 

Shalhout named to Dean’s List at Norwich University

The following student from your readership area has been recognized on the Dean's List at Norwich University for the spring 2021 semester:

Sulufaiga Shalhout, Milledgeville

Full-time undergraduate students, who earned a semester grade point average of at least 3.40 and had no failures in the previous Fall or Spring semester are awarded Dean's List honors. These students cannot have any pending Incomplete (I) grades. Dean's List honors are noted on the official transcript each term earned.
