Bonner named to Dean’s List at Angelo State University

Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, is pleased to announce that Khalid Emmanuel Bonner of Pflugerville, Texas, has been named to the Dean’s List for the 2021 fall and 2022 spring semesters. 

Bonner is a 2020 graduate of Georgia Military College Prep School in Milledgeville.

To be eligible for the ASU Dean’s List, full-time undergraduate students must maintain a 3.25 or better grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Milledgeville Cruisers Motorcycle Club presents scholarships

The Milledgeville Cruisers Motorcycle Club presented two students with the second Calvin “Chill” Hill Memorial Scholarship on Friday, June 24. 

David Butts and Ja’Quez Rozier, both Baldwin High School graduates, each received $1,000 scholarships. Both Butts and Rozier were dual enrollment students at Baldwin high and Georgia College Early College. Butts has completed an associate’s degree program at Georgia Military College and plans to attend Georgia State University in the fall. Rozier has completed his associate’s degree program at Georgia Military College and Central Georgia Technical College. He will attend Tuskegee University in the fall. 

The Milledgeville Cruisers will continue to support educational systems and community endeavors. 

Aalycea Demory of named to the spring 2022 Dean’s List at Georgia State University

Aalycea Demory of Milledgeville has been named to the Dean’s List at Georgia State University for the spring 2022 semester.

To be eligible for the Dean’s List, degree-seeking students must have earned a GPA of at least 3.5 for a minimum of nine semester hours of academic credit taken at Georgia State during the fall or spring term with no incompletes for the semester. Eligible students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 for all classes taken at Georgia State.

Hannah Masters makes spring 2022 President’s List at Georgia Southwestern State University

Hannah Masters, a resident of Milledgeville, made the Spring 2022 President’s List at Georgia Southwestern State University and was among 542 students recognized for scholastic achievement.

To be eligible for the President’s List, a student must earn a semester GPA of 4.0 and take a minimum of 12 credit hours.
