Sarah Riggs Amico, former candidate for lieutenant governor, will be the special guest speaker at the Baldwin County Democratic Party meeting next week.
The meeting is slated for 7 p.m. Monday at Allen’s Market in downtown Milledgeville.
Amico will discuss voting data from the 2018 election and the impact of antiquated voting machines, particularly in heavily democratic counties in Georgia. She is also scheduled to meet with church and community leaders will in town.
“This is a meeting you don’t want to miss,” said Baldwin County Democratic Party Chair Quentin T. Howell. “Ms. Amico will be presenting a presentation analyzing the past 2018 election, and you will never view voting the same again.”
Howell said the presentation will be non-partisan and that “it doesn’t focus on democrats or republicans, but it zeros in on the antiquated voting machines that are used here in Georgia.”
The meeting is free and open to the public.
