A sixth COVID-19 case has been confirmed in Baldwin County, according to the noon Wednesday, April 1, report released by the Georgia Department of Health.
As of noon, there were six confirmed cases in Baldwin County and one death. A 53-year-old Baldwin County man died earlier this week — the first confirmed coronavirus-related death in Baldwin County.
Overall, Georgia reported 4,638 cases of COVID-19 and 139 related deaths as of noon Wednesday. There were 952 people hospitalized statewide due to the coronavirus.
The Department of Public Health's daily status report is updated twice a day — once at noon and once at 7 p.m.
