The intersection of Cline Avenue and Pinewood Drive in Milledgeville will be closed to through traffic for the next 14 days. The intersection will open back up as soon as pipe installation is complete.
Thursdalusia! is held at Andalusia starting at 6 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month through September: Sept. 15. The open mic evenings will go until sunset and performers get five minutes. Performances will take place on the Nail House deck.
Sacred Heart Catholic Church Helping Hands Society has confirmed its annual Helping Hands Society Fundraiser to be held from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 at the Georgia College University Banquet Room. A $35 ticket will allow access to bid on a variety of unique items in the silent and live auction, fun games and raffles and delicious food with one free drink ticket. A cash bar will also be available.
