Allied Arts will exhibit the realistic-style drawings and paintings of artist Gretchen Wilson-Tuck at the John Marlor Arts Center from Sept. 11 through Oct. 14. She is an award-winning artist whose works have been published in several magazines and displayed in galleries throughout Georgia and Florida as well as Washington, D.C. for the White House Christmas Pageant of Peace. She has been an instructor in numerous programs providing community arts opportunities, and has served on several Georgia Council for the Arts Peer Review Panels. An opening reception honoring Wilson-Tuck will be held for the public from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11 at the Marlor House, located at 201 N. Wayne St. The gallery is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday or by appointment.
