Baldwin County residents who seek emergency aid will see new uniforms and new emergency trucks beginning this weekend.
The Medical Center of Central Georgia will take over the Oconee Regional Medical Center Emergency Medical Services at 7 a.m. Sunday.
“We are getting everything ready equipment wise,” Medical Center EMS Director Lee Oliver said Friday. “We went ahead and brought the trucks to Milledgeville to get them ready for the transition.”
ORMC administration contracted with The Medical
Center after choosing to seek proposals from four potential emergency services in May. The Medical Center is a nonprofit business.
