10:30 a.m. to noon: Free computer classes for seniors will be held at the Senior Citizens Center in Baldwin County.

6 p.m.: Goldwing Road Riders Association Georgia Chapter 1 meets at the Golden Corral on North Columbia Street. Dinner is followed by the meeting at 7 p.m. All bikers and biker enthusiasts may attend.

Thursday, May 13

7 a.m.: The Old Capital Kiwanis Club meets in Room 2-52 of Herty Hall on the GCSU campus.

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Harriet’s Closet, a free supply closet to help fill the needs of cancer patients, is open. The non-profit organization dedicated to helping cancer patients in Central Georgia has relocated next door to Georgia Cancer Specialists building at Oconee Regional Medical Center. (478) 451-3413.

5:30 p.m.: The Baldwin Christian Learning Center holds its monthly meeting at Hope Lutheran Church.

5:30 p.m.: The Bicycling Club of Milledgeville meets at Bartram Forest on Carl Vinson Road for its weekly mountain bike ride for all levels. Ride at your own pace.

6:30 p.m.: The 2010 Annual 4-H Awards Program will be held at the Baldwin County Recreation Department Auditorium. 4-H'ers who participated in district competitions, judging teams and other events will receive awards and recognition. A social with refreshments begins at 6 p.m. The community is invited to attend.

6:30 p.m.: The Old Capitol Optimist Club meets at the Golden Corral Restaurant on North Columbia Street. Interested citizens are welcome.

7 p.m.: The Veterans of Foreign Wars and Ladies Auxiliary of Post 6686 in Eatonton meets at the Post home, 793 Monticello Road. Dinner is provided and is followed by the meeting.

7 p.m.: The Sons of Confederate Veterans Old Capital Camp 688 meet at the Milledgeville County Club. A buffet dinner is served with a program to follow. (478) 452-6633
