A 21-year-old Macon remained hospitalized Monday after he crashed his motorcycle on Ga. Highway 49 Friday evening.

Joshua Daniel Walton, 21, of Macon was listed in good condition Monday at The Medical Center of Central Georgia, according to Janey Pulmant, director of media relations.

Watson was driving his 1996 Yamaha motorcycle west on Ga. Highway 49 when a 1997 Chevrolet C1500 truck driven by 47-year-old Jessie Washington Jr. of Walker Drive pulled out in the path of Walton at the Veal Road, according to a Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office report.

The report stated Walton laid down his bike before crashing into the truck on the driver’s side. Washington then ran over Walton’s bike. The bike skidded 32 feet before stopping at the edge of the roadway.
