MILLEDGEVILLE — Weather:

Friday: Mostly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning.  Then a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 80s. West winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.

Friday night: Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows in the upper 60s. West winds up to10 mph.

 

Best bet for today:

5-8 p.m.: The Fall Line Farmers Market will be held at the First Presbyterian Church. It's time for fresh blackberries, peaches, home-made ice cream and more of summer's local harvest at the Fall Line Farmers Market. Kids will love to pet Wellington, a three-week-old baby bull calf and other adorable barnyard babies brought by Oasis Family Farm. Enjoy live music performed by singer-songwriter Craig Hendricks.
