Around 300 Georgia College students participated in the university’s largest fundraiser last month to support a Children’s Miracle Network hospital.
Georgia College Miracle’s 10th annual Dance Marathon event featured 10 miracle families, raising more than $52,000 from the event.
The event is a fun-filled, 12-hour lock-in with games, dancing, food, crafts and opportunities to hear from children and families that have been impacted by the Children’s Miracle Network.
Proceeds from this year’s event will go toward The Children’s Hospital at the Medical Center of Central Georgia’s bereavement camp for families that have lost someone or been through a trauma.
