In honor of National Travel and Tourism Week CVB will hold free historic trolley tours May 3-10. The tour will run Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m., seating will be first come first serve. The Old Governor’s Mansion will also offer tours at $7, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
Georgia Military College will hold a parade Friday, May 9 at 2:30 p.m. on Grant Parade in order to honor all mothers for Mother’s Day. Employers are asked to allow mothers of GMC children to take off during that time in order to be present. The speaker will be Penny Hall, senior vice president of BB&T.
