Max Noah Singers get visitors into holiday spirit

MILLEDGEVILLE — The Max Noah Singers performed their holiday concert at the Old Governor’s Mansion Wednesday, featuring various Christmas tunes including ‘Carol of the Bells,’ ‘Good King Kong Looked Out,’ ‘Mary had a Baby,’ ‘Behold the Star’ and ‘Silent Night.’

The holiday celebration at the mansion continues through Dec. 22. Special candlelight tours are slated Dec. 14 and 19 at 6 and 7 p.m.

The mansion is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for senior citizens, $2 for students and children under the age of 6 and Georgia College faculty and students are free.
