MILLEDGEVILLE — Good morning. Here’s a look at what’s happening today.





Weather: 





Mostly sunny. Patchy fog in the morning. Highs in the lower 80s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph. Thursday night partly cloudy in the evening then becoming mostly cloudy. Patchy fog after midnight. Lows in the upper 50s. Light southwest winds.

The Milledgeville Area Patriots meet at Victory Baptist Church on Meriwether Road at 6:30 p.m. Tonight’s meeting will feature a forum with candidates for U.S. Congress, governor and state court judge. The meeting is open to the public. See story for details: http://tinyurl.com/nwlfxv2

Upcoming events:

The Oconee Master Gardeners Association and the Putnam County Cooperative Extension will host the final portion of a four part series on Gardening with Limitations April 9. This session will be Plantings and Container Gardening from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Hut, 400A W. Marion St., Eatonton. The presentation is free, but pre-registration is required, 706-485-4151.

Today marks the 44th anniversary of Rocket Roller Rink. Husband and wife, Brian & Stephanie Mixon, along with Mixon's sister and brother-in-law, Chandra and Michael Brewer, purchased the business in 2012 to preserve the memories of their childhood spent at the roller rink.
