County commission agenda set for Tuesday


The Baldwin County Board of Commissioners will meet in a work session Tuesday at 5:15 in commission chambers, Suite 319 at the courthouse. After the work session, the board will hold its regularly monthly meeting at 6 p.m. 

The work session agenda includes: 

• call to order; 

• administrative/fiscal matters - timber tax and energy excise tax; 

• adjournment. 

The regular commission meeting agenda includes: 

• call to order;

• invocation;

• pledge of allegiance;

• approval of minutes;

• minutes of March 4, 2014 work session and regular meeting; 

• administrative/fiscal matters - proclamation recognizing basketball state champions - chair; progress report on Central State Hospital - Mike Couch, executive director Central State Hospital Local Redevelopment Authority; DOT Public Transportation Grant Application - county manager; vehicle lease for sheriff's department - finance director; mowing contract for county rights-of-way, county engineer; proclamation for ACCG Centennial Celebration - Chair; approved Training Programs - chair; Intergovernmental Contract with Hancock County for Carr Station Road Convenience Center - county attorney; county manager's report; old business; new business; 

• public comment period for non-agenda items;

• adjournment.
