Bridal show offers brides-to-be all they need

MILLEDGEVILLE — The annual Lake Country Bridal Show once again welcomes brides-to-be, bridesmaids, mothers-of-the-bride and guests to network with area vendors to assist them in all of their wedding planning needs.

“Even if you’re not a bride or planning to get married, this show is great to meet a variety of vendors, especially if you’re interested in planning events,” said Erin Simmons, coordinator of event. “It’s just a very elegant show, and the vendors always do a great job setting up their displays.”

Sponsored by The Union-Recorder and the Milledgeville Country Club, the bridal show will feature around 30 vendors, including caterers, photographers, florists, musicians, hair and makeup artists, jewelers and tent rentals.

All featured booths will also award lucky brides with prizes, including the chance to win a $300 J.C. Grant Company gift certificate in a gourmet cupcake tasting contest.

“We will give away door prizes every few minutes, so it’s definitely worth it to stay for the duration of the show,” Simmons said. “Other prizes include photo sessions, piano lessons and flowers.”

The bridal show is slated at the Milledgeville Country Club from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15 per bride in order to take part in the various giveaways and cupcake tasting contest.

Vendors interested in participating can still register through Thursday for a $75 fee, which includes a table and linen.

For more information about this year’s show, to participate as a vendor, or make a reservation, call 478-453-1430.
