Commissioners meets today at courthouse

MILLEDGEVILLE — The Baldwin County Board of Commissioners will hold a work session and a regularly scheduled meeting today in county commission chambers, Suite 219 at the courthouse. The work session begins at 5:30 p.m. The agenda includes:

• call to order;

• administrative/fiscal matters - Recreation Department project list;

• adjournment.     

The regularly scheduled meeting begins at 6 p.m. The agenda includes:

• call to order;

• invocation;

• Pledge of Allegiance;

• approval of minutes;

• minutes of June 3, 2014 work session and regular meeting;  

• administrative/fiscal matters - letters of appreciation - Vice Chair Emily C. Davis; grant awards - Judge Phil Spivey/ATTC Project Director Amy Michaud; Criminal Justice Coordinating Council  - Family Dependency Treatment Court; Administrative Office of the Courts - Drug Endangered Children Grant; Criminal Justice Coordinating Council - Adult Treatment Court Grant - ATTC Project Director Amy Michaud; resolution regarding hotel/motel tax - County Attorney; bids for Highway 212 - Phase 1 Meriwether Road Water Project - Engineer Tim Ingram; contract service/financial agreement for Workforce Investment Area 11 - county manager; county manager's report; old business; new business;

• public comment period for non-agenda items;

• adjournment.
