MILLEDGEVILLE — Good morning. Here’s a look at what’s happening today.





Weather: 





Mostly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 90s. Southeast winds 5 to15 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent. Monday night partly cloudy. A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening. Lows around 70. Southeast winds up to 10 mph.

Best bet for today:

Milledgeville City Council will hold a called meeting at noon today at City Hall. The purpose of the meeting will be an executive session to discuss personnel.

On this day:

June is National Iced Tea Month, formed by the National Tea Council of the USA. Drink up!

Upcoming events:

Allied Arts will present watercolor workshops for adults taught by Dana Wiggins June 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Allen’s Market. Call 478-452-3950 for more information.
