River Edge to close outpatient sites today at noon

MILLEDGEVILLE — Due to the winter storm affecting Central Georgia, River Edge Behavioral Health Center will close all outpatient sites today at noon. All residential/crisis sites will remain open. River Edge’s safety officer made the decision in consultation with emergency services, including the Georgia State Patrol, to ensure the safety of clients and employees.

At this time, all River Edge staff are expected to report for regular work hours on Wednesday. However, the River Edge safety officer will continue to consult with emergency services about road conditions. If further closures are warranted, staff will be notified by their supervisor via phone. Closure information will also be posted on River Edge’s website, www.river-edge.org.
