Bicycling Club of Milledgeville Christmas Lights Ride this weekend

MILLEDGEVILLE — This Sunday the Bicycling Club of Milledgeville will gather at Greystone Arbor subdivision for its annual “Christmas Lights Ride.”

Cyclists will meet at the clubhouse, departing around 7:30 p.m. and make two tours through the area, enjoying the neighborhood’s cheerful decorations of the Christmas season.

“You’ll know the group is the Bicycling Club,” says BCM president Tom Glover. “We get in the holiday spirit by adding a variety of lights and glo-sticks to our bikes, creating a ‘Rolling Light Show’ effect, something kind of special during Christmas. The group ride is great; we love seeing all of the decorated homes and yards, and enjoy the folks’ reactions.”

The BCM invites residents of Greystone Arbor to come out and watch as the brightly lit bikes illuminate the streets of the neighborhood, or better yet, bring their bikes and ride along with BCM.
