Scott and Karen Seagraves of Milledgeville are pleased to announce the wedding of their son, Zachary Lee Seagraves, to Laura Beth Lane, daughter of Mark and Sandra Lane of Glen Allen, Va.
The wedding took place on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Auburn United Methodist Church in Auburn, Ala. The officiating clergy was Mr. Scott Seagraves, father of the groom. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. The reception took place at Moore's Mill Country Club in Auburn, Ala. The honeymoon took place in Jamaica, and the couple plan to reside in Pensacola, Fla.
The bride is the grandaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Bennett formerly of Lexington, N.C. and Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Lane of Hertford, N.C.
The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. Jimmy Williams and Mrs. Gloria Williams of Milledgeville and Felton and Mary Seagraves also of Milledgeville.
The bride's Matron of Honor was Kelly Ridenour, of Chicago, Ill. who is the sister of the bride. The best men were Joel Seagraves and Nathan Seagraves of Milledgeville who are brothers of the groom. Bridesmaids were Miss Abbey Habicht, Miss Samantha Pickering, Miss Anslee Allen, Miss Kylie Shields and Mrs. Leah Schultz. The groomsmen were Mr. Austin Terrell, Mr. Houston Mahoney, 2nd Lt. John Roberts and Mr. Cody Bounds. The wshers were Mr. Ryan Wade, Mr. Jay Dulaney, Mr. Cole Breiner and Mr. Jake Meeks.
The bride graduated from Deep Run High School in 2008 and in 2012 from Auburn University, Summa Cum Laude, with a bachelor of science in Applied Mathematics/Actuarial Science and a minor in Finance. The bride is currently employed by PennAir Credit Union in Pensacola, Fla.
The groom is a 2008 graduate of Georgia Military College Prep and a 2012 graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor of science in Biosystems Engineering. He is currently employed as an Ensign in the U.S. Navy, training to become a Naval aviator.
