— Ruby L. Griffin of Milledgeville and Freddie H. Smith of Albany, are pleased to announce the marriage of their son, Sgt. Robert J. Smith (Joey), to Sarai Yaravy Moreno-Gastelum, daughter of Joanquin Moreno Teran and Sara E. Gastelum Michel of Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. The groom is the grandson of Rosa and the late Charlie Layfield of Milledgeville, and the late Fred and Faye Smith. Joey attended Jones County High School. He is currently serving in the United State Army.The bride is an electrical engineer.
Joey and Yaravy were wed on Friday December 1, 2006, in Sierra Vista, Arizona.
