— Emily Anne Lemmon became the bride of Sean Austin McClure at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006, at White Oak Methodist Campground in Thomson.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Robert Lemmon.
The Rev. Wendell Thomas officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Valerie Lemmon of Milledgeville and granddaughter of Gene and Edith Collins of Thomson and Bonnie Boone of Macon and the late John Walter Lemmon of Jefferson, Texas. The groom is the son of Larry and Sonia McClure of Thomson and grandson of Rebecca Reese, Ralph Franks Jr. , Mary Lou McClure and the late James McClure, all of Thomson.
Wedding participants were Maid of Honor, Kate Carey of Thomson, cousin of the bride; Best Man, Scott McClure of Thomson, brother of groom; bridesmaid, Amber Sirmans of Milledgeville, best friend of the bride; flower girl, Chloe Collins of Thomson, cousin of the bride; groomsman, Kevin Reese of Thomson, uncle of the groom; ringbearer, Walton Franks of Mitchell, cousin of the groom; wedding director, Cheryl Cook, cousin of the bride; pianist, Carole Jean Carey and soloist, Karen Murdock, aunts of the bride; reception director, Ashley Garner of Madison, cousin of the bride; and decorators, Tashia Branan and family and Cindi Hill.
The reception was held at White Oak Methodist Campground in Thomson.
The couple honeymooned in Hilton Head, S.C.
They reside in Thomson.
