Good news — The man who has led the University of Georgia to two SEC titles and numerous road victories is coming back to the Lake Country!
UGA head football coach Mark Richt will be the guest speaker for the next big Lake Country Bulldog Club event to be held at the Rock Eagle Dining Hall Thursday, July 23, 2009.
The event social will be from 5:45 until 6:30 p.m., and the official dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. Admission will be $20 per adult and $10 per child 10 and under.
“We’re hoping for a big crowd. It should be a lot of fun,” Lake Country Bulldog Club President Peddy Parker said Thursday evening.
If you are passionate about the game of football, and especially the Georgia Bulldogs, and love to rub shoulders with die-hard Bulldog faithful then you should certainly come out to this special occasion. If you make the short trip to Rock Eagle you’ll get to enjoy many in-depth discussions on UGA’s upcoming season, and coach Richt will dissect several prospects, positions and offer many tidbits and insights into how his staff is building a champion.
The Lake Country Bulldog Club is a hidden “gem” in the area, and public interest in their events are growing exponentially. The $20 entrance fee is a steal of a deal and usually goes toward the guest speaker’s travel expenses.
In the end, the fine food, the family atmosphere, and the red and black football preachings make the Bulldog Club a truly wonderful experience.
The July 23 extravaganza with Coach Richt is quickly selling out, and reservations are required before July 18, according to the Lake Country Web site.
