MILLEDGEVILLE — Florea Hall Wright, 93, entered into rest Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Folds and the Rev. Jerry Bradley officiating. Burial will follow at Baldwin Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Wright was a native of Gordo, Ala. but made her home in Milledgeville since 1963. She obtained her LPN license in her 50s and worked for Central State Hospital until her retirement. Upon retirement she and her husband Bill traveled extensively for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill and son Jack. She was an active member of First Baptist Church and the WMU. Mrs. Wright lived life to the fullest and even at the age of 93 she never stopped.

Survivors include three daughters, Georgia Ann Overman of Milledgeville, Nancy K. Hislope of Union, Ohio and Martha Goodrich (Allan) of Martinez; her sister, Mary Bryant of Leesburg, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Eddie Overman, Mike Overman (Sharon), Jonathan Overman (Alisha), all of Milledgeville, Holly Ann Meadows (Tom) of Xenia, Ohio, Robert Bryan Hislope (Tiffany) of West Milton, Ohio, David Goodrich of Milledgeville and Amanda Porterfield (Eric) of Nashville, Tenn.; 10 great-grandchildren; and a special thanks to her caregiver, Elisa Vorpahl.

Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.

The family will receive friends Friday from 1 until 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church.
