Milbrie Lee Carrier


Milbrie Lee Carrier, 86, passed away Wednesday Nov. 7, 2012. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 10, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery in Cochran.

Mrs. Carrier was a native of Dublin but had made her home in Sparta for many years.  She was a retired employee of the Sparta Police Department and a member of the Sparta Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Carrier.

Survivors include two sons, George W. Martin and Ellis L. Martin both of Sparta, her daughter Hazel Clack of West Palm Beach, Fla., one brother W.D. Warren of Bryon, her sister Christine Joiner of Macon and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.

The family receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour at Moores Funeral Home.
