John Thomas 'Big John' 'Stevie' Stevens III obit

MILLEDGEVILLE — Mr. John Thomas “Big John” “Stevie” Stevens III, 51, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at 2 p.m. in  Williams Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wendell Thomas officiating.

The Family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 until 7 p.m.

Mr. Stevens was a native of Macon and had lived in the Milledgeville area since 1982. John was the son of the late John Thomas Stevens II and Delores Dyal Stevens and was preceded in death by his wife, Pam Evans Stevens, and brother Albert Richard Aber.

John was the owner/ operator of several businesses including Big Boys Toys Construction, Trophy’s Grill, Cleveland Carpets and P.J.’s.

Survivors include his children, Wendy Stevens, Krystal Stevens and J.T. Stevens, all of Milledgeville; brothers, Robert (Tammy) Aber of Macon and Rodney (Vikki) Aber of Eatonton; grandchildren, Scarlett Stevens, Jordan Stevens, Stevie Stevens, Mollie Kate Jones and Evan Hood; mother and father-in-law, Jimmy and Winifred Evans; brothers-in-law, Jae(Erica) Evans and Andy (Georgeanne) Evans; nieces and nephews, Zena, Richie, Kimberly, Kayla, Christopher, Anthony, Aaron and Stephen Aber; and companion, Brenda Jarret.
