Mary Block Burrell obit

MILLEDGEVILLE — Mrs. Mary Block Burrell, 85, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2013.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at Christ Our King and Savior Catholic Church with Father Philip Ryan officiating. Interment will be private.

The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home of Eatonton on Wednesday from 7 until 10 p.m.

Mrs. Burrell was a native of Plainfield, N.J.. She was the daughter of the late Henry E. and Mary Walsh Block.

She lived in Stuart, Fla., for 23 years before moving to Eatonton in 2004. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Burrell; son-in-law, Mike Riley; and daughter-in-law, Barbie Burrell.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Christ Our King and Savior Catholic Church.

Survivors include her children, Mary Ellen Riley of Florida, Joseph A. Burrell of Texas, Leonard W. (Wendy) Burrell of Nebraska, Daniel T. Burrell of California, Catherine A. (Terry) Tuel of Eatonton, Matthew D. Burrell of Florida, Patricia J. Wolf of Milledgeville, David A. (Martina) Burrell of Washington; son-in-law, Neal Simms of Florida; grandchildren, Jeanette, Michael, Andy, Chris, Amanda, Matthew, Sam, Sean, Tricia, David, Kiersten, T.L., Erin, Abby, Ryan, Andy, Katie; and great-grandchildren, Mackenna, Riley, Kayla Mae, Khloe, Luca, Alec and Brandon; and cousin, Jean Fran Renbeck.
