MILLEDGEVILLE — Services for Mr. William Clyde Garnto, 86, of Milledgeville will be conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. in Harrison Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Kenneth Brantley officiating.

Mr. Garnto passed away Oct 10, 2013. He was a native of Johnson County and had made his home in Baldwin County for most of his adult life.

He was retired plant manager of J.P. Stevens, veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy, a member of Benevolent Lodge No. 3 F&AM and was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Rose Marie Garnto; son, Dr. Keith (Nancy) Garnto of Milledgeville; grandchildren, Heather (Will) Hansen of Knoxville, Tenn., Matt (Joanna) Garnto of Dahlonega and Luke (Heather MacLeod) Garnto of Blue Ridge, Ga.; sister, Florence Hawkins of Milledgeville; brothers, Frank Garnto and Wendell (Jan) Garnto of Milledgeville and Raleigh (Vira) Garnto of Commerce.

In lieu of flowers the family request expressions of sympathy to Agape Hospice, 3312 Northside Drive, Macon, Ga., 31210 or to the Masonic Lodge.
