Ronald M. McMullen obit

MILLEDGEVILLE — Ronald M. McMullen, 58, passed away Tuesday Oct. 1, 2013. 

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with Dr. Jay Hodges and Dr. Mike Cavin officiating.  Burial will follow in West View Cemetery.

Mr. McMullen was a native and life-long resident of Milledgeville and was a 1973 graduate of Baldwin High School.

He was the superintendent of the Little Fishing Creek Golf Course and was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Parnell N. McMullen and Berta Moore McMullen, and a brother, Oliver Parnell McMullen. 

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Hargrove McMullen of Milledgeville; two sons, Ian McMullen (Ruth) of Macon and Jason McMullen (Leah) of Milledgeville; two sisters, Patricia McMullen Walker (Perry) of Eatonton and Jeanette McMullen Chambers (Horace) of Milledgeville; a brother, Jerry Wayne McMullen of Milledgeville; sister-in-law, Sandra McMullen of Milledgeville; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

In lieu of flowers please make contributions to First United Methodist Church River of Life 366 Log Cabin Road, Milledgeville, Ga.  31061.

The family receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
