Audie Schwegman Wilson, 66, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013.
Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Debbie Osterhoudt officiating.
Visitation will follow immediately after the service in the church fellowship hall.
Mrs. Wilson was a native of West Virginia and graduated in 1964 from McEvoy High School in Macon. She received a B.A. from the University of Hawaii in 1968, and at the age of 56, she received a masters in social work from the University of Georgia.
She was the daughter of the late William L. Schwegman and Audrey Schwegman Partenza. She was a social worker for 17 years in Hawaii and Massachusetts and taught for 20 years in the Baldwin County School System.
She regarded her most important role as mother and in recent years, as grandmother. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband Dr. Bob Wilson of Milledgeville; her mother, Audrey Schwegman Partenza (Sal); children, Julia C. Roessing (Matthew) and Rob M.S. Wilson (Sophie); grandchildren, Dean M. Roessing, Max C. Roessing, Leo B. Wilson and Skye Audie Wilson.
The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Samaritan Outreach Ministry C/O First Presbyterian Church 210 S. Wayne St., Milledgeville, Ga. 31061.
