MILLEDGEVILLE — Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Minnie R. Parks of Milledgeville will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013. Services will begin 11 a.m. at St. Luke Baptist Church, Highway 22 East, Sparta, with the interment following at the church cemetery.

On Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013 Mrs. Parks departed this life and entered into rest. She was a member of The Eastern Star, a devoted member of Rhema International Ministries of Macon, and was the church mother.

She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted husband, Leroy Parks Sr.; sons, Eric (Feleshia) Bennett, Arthur (Sandra) Bennett, Willie (Marsha) Millions, Stanquez Millions; daughters, Sherlonda (Baldwin) Barnes, Annie (Johnny) Havior, Cormellia (Jimmy) Havior, Frelesha (Tim) Millions all of Milledgeville; devoted friends, Hazel Brown, Matricia Easley; 21 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Parks was preceded in death by her father, Willie Bennett; sons, Dan Jenkins Jr., Jimmie Bennett and a granddaughter, Vaneisha Devereaux.
